Gelsil MS-150 and Gelsil MS-200 reduce gloss in coatings when solvents evaporate reducing the film thickness, this allows its particles to form a micro rug on the surface of the dried film, that disperses light rays reflecting on the surface.

Gelsil MS-150 is an amorphous, organically treated precipitated silica that is used as matting agent. It is easy to incorporate into varnishes, acrylic lacquers and paints.
